Obama has spent 5 trillion dollars of future taxpayers' income in a blizzard of spending on politicians' pet projects; he has set in place an enormous growth in government, and handcuffed our military's ability to gain intelligence about America's avowed enemies. Skillful and charismatic liar that he is, he said that, on every issue, he thinks about what is good for the country, not is what is good politics. It is hard to square that statement with his penchant for declaring a firm position on an issue and then the opposite position two weeks later according to the prevailing public winds. In an attempt to blunt the rising anger about the 5 trillion and the grass roots nationwide Tea Parties, he said that "we need to get serious about fiscal discipline by trimming waste in the federal budget," and told his bureaucrats to cut 100 million of waste from their programs." (A purely symbolic, political ploy to everyone except the Obama-adorers and the lapdog press.) One hundred million is lint in the pocket of five trillion. It would take 10,000 more of these 100 million dollar savings to balance the five trillion. Charles Krauthammer commented that Obama has the magic to make words mean almost anything; for example the Obama whopper when he boasted that he had "identified $2 trillion in deficit reductions over the next decade." It takes audacity to repeat this after it had been so widely exposed as transparently phony by the Congressional Budget Office. His administration remained quiet about saving another 15 million dollars. They killed a Washington D.C. program that allows inner city children to escape the poor schools and attend private schools in the nearby area. This savings, hatched and supported by the new Education Secretary, Senate Democrats, and the teachers' union, deprives a few kids of the opportunity for a better education. Bravo, Liberals.

The old Leftist, blame America first, extremist writer, Lowell Blankfort, is back in our local paper, and I recalled my first readings of the writer's monthly opinion pieces - usually diatribes against the president and the Republican Party. He occasionally did a major piece about another country; this time it was Afghanistan and Pakistan. The Blankster clearly devotes a great deal of effort to his pieces and spends a lot of someone's money traveling to remote sites. Therefore, I have always felt it was a shame that it was impossible to have any credibility in his reporting knowing how extremely biased he is. Like trying to read our major news outlets, only worse. I started reading his diatribes during the Bush 2 administration and was struck by the bitter, anti-American tone. Writing about some country in a far corner of the world, he always managed to compare us unfavorably to others, and seemingly to blame every world crisis on George Bush. I noticed a marked difference in tone to the recent article now that a fellow Socialist in power. His opinions are much more tolerant regarding the U.S. stance on Afghanistan and Pakistan now that a fellow Leftist is calling the shots, although he still managed to get in a few digs at Bush. The goal of this latest piece, aside from payment for his trip, seemed to be to give his version of the history and events of the region, and, to lower expectations for Obama's success there. He titled his article, "Can Obama win where Genghis Khan couldn't?" Would you like to guess what the title might have said if Bush was still president and taking the same actions? For example, Bush Afghanistan Policies a failure? Or Bush and Cheney destroy Afghanistan? Or Bush troop buildup causing millions of Afghani deaths?
Obama and his boys released the official memos detailing interrogation techniques that intelligence people used against terrorists. However, they withheld accompanying information that explained the methods were successful in thwarting future terrorist attacks. Why would an American president take away the ability of our intelligence people to gather information that might save American lives, and, at the same time betray his duplicity by withholding the most significant part of the story? Now he is now compounding his duplicity by suggesting the Justice Department look into prosecution of those responsible for interrogation of terrorists. It is puzzling. Does Obama do something such as this to mollify his extremist left-wing base, or is he just the witless, pacifist, wimp I have imagined him to be?
Like the proverbial rats abandoning the ship, the DemPols are running away from the issue, afraid they might suffer from the association. Several of them, most notably, political animal Nancy Pelosi, are lying like - well, lawyer/politicians - saying they never knew of the CIA interrogation techniques. These same liars are asking for hearings to do what DemPols always do, shift the blame away from themselves. In this case, to the lawyers who only provided requested opinions on the legality of the techniques. Documentation shows that the CIA briefed Pelosi and the other rats multiple times on the details of the interrogations, and that Congress approved them.
A few days ago, the Obama pack released documents describing the type interrogation techniques that investigators used during President Bush's administration. Publicly releasing this allows terrorists to study the techniques and develop anti-interrogation methods. In short, as is the case of other Obama changes, he and his people are giving aid to the enemy. Today, Obama opened the door for prosecuting Bush administration lawyers who gave the legal opinion that water boarding and other interrogation methods that interrogators used to gain information are not torture and, therefore, legal. These methods proved effective in gaining information that saved American lives. Obama, whose absence of principle we are growing familiar, took the diametrically opposite stance two weeks ago, when he said he was not interested in dwelling in the past on the subject. To those who attended private schools or those who attended California public school but studied history on their own, they may recognize the stystmatic dismantling of America. Obama's updated position on the issue will be familiar. It is pure fascist totalitarianism for an incoming regime to demonize and punish the prior leaders; Stalin did it; Mao did it; Pol Pot did it. This is one more ingredient in the Obama movement that is transforming our country. One conservative writer, Pam Geller, even likened Obama's rise to power to Adolph Hitler and the Nazi party's ascendancy. She wrote, "How did Hitler come to power? Slowly but surely he seized the controls of government power, department by department, person by person, bureaucracy by bureaucracy. "The kids joined a Youth Movement in his name, where they were taught what to think. How did he get the people on his side? He did it promising jobs to the jobless, money to the moneyless, and goodies for the military-industrial complex. "He did it by indoctrinating the children, advocating gun control, health care for all, better wages, better jobs, and promising to re-instill pride once again in the country, across Europe, and across the world. He did it with a compliant media."
A picture has been making the news showing Obama showing the big Obama smile shaking the hand of Venezuelan dictator Hugo Chavez and with his other hand caressingly on the shoulder of Chavez.
Bye-bye liberty, hello totalitarianism. Senior White House adviser/hatchet-man David Axelrod appeared on Face the Nation Sunday and the interviewer asked him about all the Americans attending the "Tea Parties." He replied that the anti-spending, anti-high taxes movement is an "unhealthy reaction to the tough economic climate facing the country.”
Notwithstanding the lapdog press’s account of how the world adores Obama, and, on his recent world tour, he did give his usual beautifully formed speeches to much applause, he came away with nothing after meeting with various leaders.
During his visit to Mexico, President Clueless, in the true Obama style of “tell them whatever they want to hear,” said, "My country has been greatly enriched by immigrants from Mexico." He would have said the same thing about Somalian pirates if he were speaking in Somalia.
Thought provoking statistics: There are 12 to 15 million illegal aliens in the country; 10% of California workers are illegal aliens. 10% of Californians are now unnemployed. For good measure: 14% of California schoolchildren are illegal. Speaking about the recent spate of Mexican drug cartel killings along our southern border, Obama said that we are partly responsible for “the bloodshed and kidnappings in Mexico.” To reinforce his statement, he repeated the false claim that 90 percent of weapons in the hands of Mexican gangs came from the U.S. The Immigration service and several other sources totally debunked this false statistic on April 2, yet Obama went ahead and quoted the figure again yesterday. Big media, showing its unbelievable bias and incompetence, has repeated this falsehood several times in the past week.
The J.P. Morgan Chase bank CEO has announced that the bank would like to give back the government stimulus money; the bank did not request the money and feels it does not need it to recover from the banking recession.
Call me a cynic but I am not buying the Obama gang’s preening and gloating about the Navy Seal sniper shooting of the Somali pirates.
Some of the responses to a survey question demonstrated the type of public thinking that chills me, particularly when combined with the knowledge that we have, not only an extremist, but clueless rookie in the White House.
Electing Barack Hussein Obama was likely the most irresponsible act we voters have ever performed upon ourselves.
An AP article described that our new leader, President Clueless, through his new science advisor, the first appointee thus far whom the rudimentary vetting process has not found to be a questionable nominee for being a tax cheat, has a nifty plan to cure the desperate global warming situation that will result in “intolerable consequences,” as he calls it.
Just hours after North Korea launched a long-range rocket, President Barack Obama made a rhetorically beautiful speech calling for "a world without nuclear weapons."
More on the Obama drive to transform our country into a true Socialist state.
Life is littered with ironies, isn’t it? Billionaire Hedge fund manager George Soros, the premier Democrat campaign contributor and the man who got Obama elected, boasts that he had predicted the global credit crunch and said the financial crisis has been 'stimulating' and the culmination of his life's work.
If only the public could learn a valuable lesson from the collapse of the economy, plunging stock market, high unemployment, and personal hardship.
