Jughead is off to a good start at paying off his special interest groups and pacifying his left-wing base.
His first act as our new president was to reinstate taxpayer money to provide for abortions around the world. Two days later, he withdrew this presidential act. Nancy Pelosi must have suffered disappointment after having made a case for inclusion of providing funds for more abortions in the U.S. This simpleton actually rationalized this as part of the stimulus package because more abortions means fewer people which means less strain on the economy. Brilliant.
His next act: a declaration that he will close Guantanamo, Also brilliant given that 40 of the released prisoners have returned to terrorist organizations to kill American soldiers.
Then, another declaration that terrorist interrogation techniques would be severely restricted, more good news for terrorists around the world who hate America and have issued a standing threat of another 9/11...
Topping off the week, he signed a bill to extend for years the time limitation under which an employee may sue a company for any imagined prejudice, and to make virtually unlimited the punitive damage dollar amount – payola to the trial lawyers who gave big to his campaign.
