In the great depression, the self-serving bureaucrats saw the unfortunate situation as an opportunity to expand government, so they convinced the public that the best solution was for mama government to control the economy.
Since the final weeks of the election, and with the troubled economy, and, just recently, the scandal of Illinois Governor Slime-ovich’s attempt to sell to the highest bidder Obama’s vacated senate seat, there is an absence of any serious discussion of global warming.
The bureaucrats have nationalized nine banks, a move never even considered in a free market system except by FDR, who used the financial crisis as an excuse to tremendously expand the role of government in our lives. We see this type thing only in totalitarian countries.
We have witnessed some world-class liars among Democrat politicians over the years:
It’s wonderful, it’s stupendous, it’s Obama-magic.
The alarmist media is in rapture over the current economic problems; bad news is big news for these people.
Some sage said that once government bureaucrats give you money, they own you.
