In 1981, Black Panther Mumia Abu-Jamal murdered twenty five year old Philadelphia Police Officer Daniel Faulkner. He shot the officer in the back and then witnesses testified he shot him again as he lay defenseless on the ground looking up at the killer. The anti-anything-American Hollywood lefties such as Alec Baldwin, Tim Robbins, Susan Sarandon, Ed Asner, Mike Farrell and famous America-hater Michael Moore, always looking for some left-field cause that goes against American values but still quenches their need to feel they are involved in something more than the trivial life they lead acting in movies. This is the perfect crusade for these lefties since it involves a minority vis-à-vis the police. One of these socially aware crusaders, Mike Farrell, who one must assume believes in the killer’s innocence, stated that he had never gotten around to reading the trial transcript which is publicly available.
Some writer - can’t remember who - said, “A leader of public thought in Hollywood wouldn’t have enough acumen anywhere else to hold a place in the breadline.”
